The MT5 trading journal for cleaner review.

In short

GAPHYTORO turns supported MetaTrader 5 execution history into a review workflow. Import available entries, exits, size, swap, and commission through a read-only connection, then add screenshots, notes, psychology, and strategy context to understand the decision behind each result.

Use the broker server details issued for your account. MT4, manual, and CSV-imported journals can sit beside MT5 in the same workspace.

What you get

Your MT5 history, made useful.

Read-only MT5 connection

Connect with investor/read-only access where supported. GAPHYTORO can’t place trades or withdraw — it only reads history.

Automatic trade import

Available closed trades and account data stay current without rebuilding each ticket by hand.

Multi-asset journal context

Review forex, metals, indices, and other supported MT5 instruments with the account currency and source data preserved.

Screenshots & notes

Attach the chart and reasoning to each imported trade so the review keeps the decision context.

Multi-account lanes

Run several MT5 accounts — live, demo, different brokers — and compare them in one workspace.

Analytics that update themselves

Equity curve, drawdown, win rate, and strategy stats recompute as new trades sync.

Why GAPHYTORO

Built for the review habit.

  • Supported MetaTrader 5 history imports and stays current automatically.
  • Connection details are encrypted and used only to maintain the journal import.
  • Broker-server details are validated during connection rather than restricted to a small brand list.
  • MT4 and MT5 accounts live side by side in the same journal.
  • Cent account scaling and native account currencies handled correctly.

Before you connect an account, you may want to read how broker connections work, plans and pricing and the MT4 journal if you run both.

FAQ

Common questions.

01How does the MT5 connection work?

You add your MetaTrader 5 account number, broker server, and read-only credentials. GAPHYTORO uses that access to import your trade history and balance automatically. It cannot open trades, close trades, or move funds.

02Which MT5 brokers are supported?

GAPHYTORO accepts the exact MetaTrader 5 server identifier supplied by your broker instead of enforcing a small brand whitelist. Compatibility is confirmed during connection, and CSV or manual logging remains available when a live connection is not supported.

03Does it support MT4 too?

Yes. MT4 and MT5 accounts both connect the same way and appear together in your journal. There’s a dedicated MT4 page if you trade MetaTrader 4.

04How fresh is the data?

Your account stays in sync automatically — new trades appear shortly after they close, and a new connection completes its first import quickly. You can keep trading as usual; the journal keeps up.

05Is my MT5 password safe?

Connection details are encrypted and handled only to maintain the journal import. Use an investor or view-only password when your broker supports one. GAPHYTORO does not expose trade-placement, order-management, or withdrawal actions.

Make MT5 history useful after the trade closes.

Connect the execution to the chart, strategy, psychology, and review that help you make a better next decision.
